Refund Policy
At Glenorchy Driving School, we strive to provide the best learning experience possible.
However, we understand that sometimes cancellations and refund requests may arise.
Please read our refund policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
- ✔ Refunds are only issued under exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
- ✔ If a lesson is canceled by Glenorchy Driving School, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.
- ✔ If you cancel a lesson at least 24 hours in advance, you may request a refund or reschedule.
- ✔ If you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson, no refund will be issued.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
- ✔ Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice.
- ✔ Arriving late beyond the allowable grace period.
- ✔ Student deemed unfit to drive (e.g., intoxication, drug influence, failure to provide a valid learner’s permit).
- ✔ Technical issues on the user’s end (e.g., booking mistakes, incorrect details provided by the student).
3. Refund Process
- ✔ All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@glenorchydrivingschool.com.
- ✔ Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.
- ✔ Refunds are issued via the original payment method only.
- ✔ If a refund request is denied, an alternative solution such as rescheduling may be offered.
4. Package & Prepaid Lessons
- ✔ Discounted package deals and prepaid lessons are non-refundable once partially used.
- ✔ If you cancel a prepaid package before starting, a full refund is available minus any administrative fees.
- ✔ Unused prepaid lessons may be transferred to another student upon request.
5. Special Circumstances
- ✔ In cases of medical emergencies or unforeseen events, we may offer a refund or lesson credit upon valid documentation.
- ✔ Requests for special consideration must be sent to info@glenorchydrivingschool.com with supporting documents.
